Terms of service

The rules for using Event to organize events and work with your team.

Updated October 20, 2026

Using the service

By using Event, you agree to these terms and to use the service lawfully. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to do so. Event provides planning tools; the organizer remains responsible for running the event, communicating with guests and checking the accuracy of event information.

Accounts and team access

Keep your credentials private and use your own account. A new login on another device replaces the previous active session. Tenant administrators manage workspace access; event administrators and scanners receive assigned permissions. Invited team members use the tenant’s access and do not need to purchase their own plan to accept an invitation.

Your content and responsibilities

You retain your rights in content you provide. You authorize its processing as needed to operate the features you use, such as invitations, seating and check-in. Upload only content and personal information you are entitled to use, inform guests as required and respect their rights. Do not upload unlawful material, infringe intellectual property, bypass access controls or interfere with the service.

Plans and payments

The selected offer and checkout show the price, currency, duration and applicable payment conditions before purchase. Recurring subscriptions renew according to the accepted offer until canceled; fixed-duration access follows the selected term. Canceling renewal is different from deleting an account. Review the checkout confirmation and your billing records. These terms do not remove mandatory consumer rights or any rights available under applicable law.

Availability and event preparation

Connectivity, devices and maintenance can affect availability. Prepare an appropriate backup of the guest information you need before an event and protect any exports. Event cannot guarantee that every device, camera or connection will work without interruption. Report problems through Support.

Deletion and workspace closure

You can initiate account deletion in Settings. Deleting a team account removes that user’s access, not the shared event. Closing a workspace as its last active administrator is a separate, explicit confirmation that deletes its content and team accounts and cancels its subscriptions. Export necessary records first. Deletion does not automatically create a refund or remove financial records that must be retained.

Disputes and changes

Contact Support with your account email, the relevant transaction reference and a description of the issue; never send passwords or full payment-card details. Applicable mandatory law continues to apply. Updated terms will be identified by their revision date; review material changes before continuing to use affected features.
